ROSC. Return of spontaneous circulation. Used when, during a resuscitation attempt, a palpable pulse is felt and continues when chest compressions cease. It's a good sign but not an excuse for complacency. The pulse can disappear again and again during CPR as the heart behaves and misbehaves.
